Dharamshala Volunteer Project
Shake Hands situated in
remote/rural areas of Dharamshala with our India volunteer program
which aims at serving the underprivileged and marginalized rural
community of this beautiful mountain region by creating educational
and health programs with international volunteers.
Dharmashala a twin town
city; divided into lower and upper towns with a difference of 457m
(1500ft.) between them. The mountains enfold 3 sides of the town and
the valley stretches to the south. Dharamshala is known for its scenic
beauty, calmness and tranquility. It has high pine trees, tea gardens
and timber yielding trees. Dharamshala is now the seat of His Holiness,
the Dalai Lama. After the Chinese conquest of his country, Dharamshala
is evocative of the imperial days in places like McLeodganj and
Forsytheganj. Dharamshala is the headquarters of the Kangra district.

| How to apply and signup: |
| Fill out and submit the application form and
when your application is approved, you will receive a request
money email within 48 hours to deposit application fee of USD $200
to secure your place in the program. Once your application fee is
deposited, your place on the program will be secured and you will
receive a written confirmation of the same.

Please Note: Teaching program not available in July and August (summer
vacation)
*Pickup from
Delhi airport and transport to work area is excluded. In this cost
pickup will be provided for Dharamshala airport, bus stand,
railway station.
** Payment will be taken in INR by our credit card payment
gateway. INR cost mentioned has been calculated @ INR 48 = $1 USD.
Currency conversion will be done on the payment date. |
