Summer Program 2008 Volunteer India
Shake Hands provide 4
weeks Summer Program with a great cultural and volunteering experience
of a lifetime. In this program, volunteers will work in day care
centers of nearby rural areas of Dharamshala. Volunteer work
will involve working with children, doing some construction/renovation
work at the center, teaching, playing and spending time with the kids.
The volunteer’s journey will start from Jaipur with a week long
cultural orientation week followed by volunteering work in day care
centers for the next 3 weeks. You get to work with local people,
helping them hand to hand for the upliftment of children.

when your application is approved, you will receive a request
money email within 48 hours to deposit application fee of USD $200
to secure your place in the program. Once your application fee is
deposited, your place on the program will be secured and you will
receive a written confirmation of the same.
